Thanks for stopping by and leaving these kind words. It helps to be "happily retired" and have lots of time on my hands with my sister and best friends "on the road" traveling with their husbands in RVs :)

I plan to return to your Blog soon as well. It's nice to make new friends in this "virtual world" of the Blogosphere.

Annie,
I'm enjoying the weather and am looking forward to more rain, but I feel for those folks who live where the fires burned so recently because now they have to deal with mudslides. It's always something.

So ... did you enjoy your summer weather by going for a swim at the beach again today I wonder?

Hugs and blessings to you both,

Love your photos of the rain. It's snowing here right now and has been for about three hours. It is to continue overnight and turn to ice in the morning. Ice isn't nice!

Thanks so much for sharing.
Blessings,
Mary

I have to say your site looks great Virginia. All the wonderful Xmas stuff you've added...including the music...it looks so warm and friendly. I knew you were a quick study. You've done a beautiful job my friend. Many hugs coming to you....

Thanks for the Kudos Joy. You know first hand how it all started for me no so very long ago :)

Guess it shows how having lots of time on my hands (plus an inquisitive mind & adventuresome spirit of exploration) can be a blessing. Once I see something that's possible out there in the "virtual world" I want to figure out how to do it for myself and do whatever it takes to make it happen :)

Of course, with my two best friends headed for home ... I may have less time to devote to such things soon.

I am stopping by to pay a visit after your kind visit to my blog and wanted to say I love the pictures of the rain. I love listening to the sound of a nice steady rain. And your photos really captured the way it makes the world bright and glistening.

I was also looking at your profile and anyone who loves James Taylor, When Harry Met Sally and The Lord of the Rings books is going to get along with me just fine. ;)

Thanks for the return visit. I love the rain too and we haven't had much for the last year or so here in So Cal, so it was all the more special on Friday. Because everyone's been posting pictures of Fall leaves and now Snowy weather, I figured I'd share these. As for Sweet Baby James, Harry & Sally, and Tolkien ... some things never get old :)

Thanks for the visit. I know you're busy. Hope your dad's doing better each day.

I used to have a penpal in England (seems like she lived in Welling, Kent, if memory serves) when I was in grade school and she told me it rained all the time there.

Hi G,
I enjoyed visiting your blogs. I did try the what kind of flower am I, and I am a snapdragon. That was fun. Also enjoyed your collage and your yard looks very nice-like it is enjoying the rain. Be home soon, J on the Road
