Ah, so nice. I could go sit out on one of those chairs with a good book and be content for a good long while.

Thank you for a virtual visit to Spring from an Indiana person who is very tired of cold, snow, ice, and wind. All I see out my window is brown grass and trees without leaves. I love your saying at the end. Yes, I will laugh at the stress 10 years from now.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce from Creation In Progress

What a gorgeous set of flowers!!! And then, on top of that, reading a good book [I've read some of his books] and enjoying the weekend. Now, that is IDEAL!!

Just dropped back in this evening to tell you I posted my gifts from you. Thanks again.

The "gentle ocean breezes" sound delightful. Many years ago I lived with my family in Chula Vista. I could smell the ocean from where we lived. :)

Thank you for the late winter pick-me-up.

Just what I needed! I just got home from a weekend visit with my mom in West VA. It snowed about three inches while I was there! It was cold, cold, cold too! When I got home to TN, it was cold but there was no snow! Yay!

Your pics are beautiful!

Whoa! Those are some seriously vivid blue chairs! Did they come like that, or was that a personally-done modification? We weren't snowed in out here in Providence--in fact, it would have been really nice today if not for a rather cold wind--but I'd definitely take your weather over ours.

Maggie – I must admit, it was a most delightful afternoon on my patio … with Molly and my book for company. Ms. Kitty was off exploring (or snoozing) somewhere else.

Joyce – You’re quite welcome. Given the wintry weather in so much of the USA of late, it seemed like the least I could do ;--)

Hootin' Anni – Why thank you! Yez … it wuz positively decadent (without the chocolate). I’m so happy you enjoyed the ‘bling’ … and yez … that ‘rocking cat’ makes me laugh almost as much as the ‘NaBloPoopedMo’ puppy in my sidebar.

Joyce – Oh yez! I know Chula Vista ... it's down ‘Sandy Eggo’ way ;--)
Living a block and a half from the ocean is such a blessing! We stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer because the ocean ‘stabilizes’ the air temperature. You’re most welcome!

Sonya – Thanks! Every time I look at the weather channel and/or see icy/snowy photos on blogs, I count my blessings that I’m a native California gal. I’m happy to share a bit of Spring with you after the cold temperatures.

Sherck – Yup … they came that way! Bought them at Linens & Things last summer. My house faces East and the patio gets morning sun, but then gets shady fairly early … so they’ve not faded much yet anyway.

Mike – Hahaha! The only pink flamingos I know of are at the San Diego Zoo and perhaps in some Palm Springs Retirement Communities … but those of us who are beach-dwellers wouldn’t be caught dead with such nonsense. No way Jose!

I’m glad I could bring a bit of color and sunshine into the chillier climates and I hope Spring arrives soon wherever you are. I appreciate you stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Have a wonderful week!

Love the quote. Laughing in the face of adversity is something I have tried all my life to do. When it comes to a choice between laugh or cry I choose laugh. Thanks for the springtime photos.

Eve – Thanks for the feedback. I thought the quote appropriate somehow for the day. Laughter is good medicine isn’t it? You’re welcome for the colorful flowers. I'm so happy you could drop by, and I hope the snow & ice near you gives way soon to Spring in Idaho!

These pictures are so great..they'll either perk us out of our doldrums or send us over the edge. Lets hope it's the former. I'm in some middle ground right now as far as the weather goes...not more REAL snow, but still pretty cold. Now our Ohio friends are not so lucky...they are in the middle of the Blizzard Blues. Lets hope they'd find some cheer in your beautiful flowers sweetie....

After the snow fall we got, I'm ready for Spring. Your pretty pictures really got me thinking Spring.

I loved your thought for the day.

Have a good week.

Oh, that's awesome!
I love Spring and your pics are showing the Best of it.
Sigh :D
Enjoy it - no gentle breeze here today :D!!

Well, it's not snowing in Maryland, but it's been very rainy and foggy--so I'm certainly glad to see a bit of color, if only on your blog!

And those chairs look mighty comfy...think I will join you--and make mine lemonade!

Joy – I wouldn’t want to ‘push anyone over the edge’ …(or anywhere else for that matter)… so I’m hoping these glimpses brighten and/or lift spirits, but ya know what they say about good intentions. LOL

Betty – I’m happy to do what I can and am delighted you enjoy my quotes.

Chuck – Yez … the book IS a good one (I always enjoy Koontz) and I’ve almost finished it. If I’d ignored the computer last night and/or this morning, I would have … but since I’m going to be spending the day with friends in the ‘real’ world, I figured I’d give my ‘blogging buddies’ a bit a time first.

Nicole – I certainly hope your headache has passed and that you’re feeling better by now. As for my yard … sometimes I can’t believe how quickly everything came back to life. Even the roses have buds already.

Karen – Lemonade coming up! If you need a bit more sugar, feel free … but I enjoy mine on the ‘tangy’ side ;--)

How fun to find your comments this morning as I sip my coffee and prepare for the day ahead. I hope your weekend was wonderful and that today is delightful too.
