Sitting down to write
realizing this will be
my one hundreth post.
Stormy weather out
and within the Federer
match with Djokovic
calls ... I want to watch,
but I sit here torn between
passions ... Tennis wins!
Possibly I'll add
more once I know who moves on,
but for now I'm done.
I've finished watching tennis and
Haiku Friday - Federer's Finesse Flounders
is now posted at Sacred Ruminations.

Congrats!! What a milestone!
Hope you enjoyed the tennis. Good job on making it to 100!
100th post! Yaahooo!!
Have fun watching tennis!
That's wonderful storyteller--and to think you've done it in what? Four months?
great 'kus! happy 100th....
Congrats on the 100 posts!
Woohoo!! 100 posts :) That's wonderful! LOL at "Tennis wins!" :)
congrats on the 100th post!!! (i think i was in my 3rd year of blogging before i hit 100.)
congrats on 100 posts!!
and have fun watching tennis, too.
Thanks to all of you for your support and congratulations on this blogging milestone. I wanted to spend more time and thought on my 100th post, but the siren call of tennis won out. After the match I created a 2nd ‘Ku … a bit of a lament. I’m torn because the Championship Match with Djokovic and Tsonga promises to be most exciting, and it’s a hopeful sign to other tennis players for the future of their careers.
SA Mama – One of these days I’ll tackle adding words to photos. I love the way you combine the two on Fridays.
Melissa – Thanks for visiting even though you’re under the weather. I hope you feel better soon.
Susiej – I hope visiting Haiku Friday posts today is taking your mind off your recent loss.
Jenni – I did enjoy the match, though it was hard to watch Federer not play to his potential. I was hoping for an excellent match … and this was pretty one-sided. Your Haiku today is amazing and most impressive!
Kathryn – Yours was one of the most reflective pieces I've read in this virtual world on the death of Heath Ledger.
Karen – Actually it’s been just about 3 months. My 1st post was October 22 and today is January 25th … I had 75 posts in 2007 and this is the 25th for 2008 on THIS blog. No one is more surprised than me about all this however.
Phyllis – Your Haiku retelling of such a familiar story was delightful.
Bren – Good luck with this “cleaning” lesson for your daughter. It’s worth the effort.
Sandy – I loved YOUR Haiku complete with pictures of your little QT today. Of course, you KNEW (as did I) tennis would win. LOL
Lucy – Perhaps I waited just long enough that the opening of the flood gates coincided with my “blogging” debut?
Janet – I hope the rain didn’t disrupt your travel plans too much!
I appreciate all your comments, so thanks for taking the time to write. Tomorrow will be my 100th post at Sacred Ruminations. There’s no doubt I’ll be watching the Sharapova-Ivanovic Women’s Championship Match, but at least I won’t feel the need to publish so early.
Hugs and blessings,
Congrats on 100! Still having fun too!
100 Posts! Wow! I haven't been counting. I wonder if that's in my stats somewhere. I enjoyed your 'ku - again.
You can do your 100 things in number 101. Yay for a fellow tennis fan. Glad to see you tuned in!
You are Haiku Queen! Congrats on your 100th post! You really suit blogging.
Thanks Kara … I owe much to YOU for getting me started. Yes, I am having fun though I do sense the need for striking a balance … and may decide to merge my blogs at some point or post on alternate days because when life gets busy … keeping up with both can be a strain.
Eve – Check your Archive. Mine tells me I had 75 posts in 2007, so I knew that when I reached 25 in January, it would be 100. There may be other ways to tell, but that’s what I did.
AFF – So … what’s this 100 things in 101? I’m glad to find another tennis fan out there too. I think there have only been 4 or 5 readers who have indicated an interest. You might enjoy last Thursday’s T-13 about Roger Federer. It was hard to see him lose today.
MoI – Thank you!!! I’m visualizing myself in a lovely crown right now. LOL … I think blogging suits me, at least for now. Once tennis is over I’ll be doing more visiting to catch up, but at the moment … there just aren’t enough hours in the day for everything. I’m sure you understand. I hope others will forgive my infrequent visits these past two weeks.
Thanks to all of you for supporting me so enthusiastically with your comments. I am grateful and feel blessed. Hugs and blessings all!
Congratulations on #100!
Congrats on 100 posts,it will probly take me forever to reach that mark.
Great job. 100 posts is indeed a milestone. Congratulations!
Blessings,
Mary
Mama Zen, Mike and Mary
Thanks to you all for stopping by and offering your congratulations. I guess I got to this point by posting every day … and that’s not been too challenging yet. We’ll see what happens from now on.
Hugs and blessings,
Yay for #100!
Mine's in a few days. :)
Congrats on 100 posts (on both blogs)! I didn't even notice when I hit that milestone.
Happy 100th post! And I still love these Haiku Fridays!
Melissa – Thanks and congrats on yours coming up. Are you planning to do the list of 100 Things About You meme?
Yertle – I only noticed because someone pointed out to me that it was coming up. Once I realized I had 75 posts in 2007, I knew it would come up on the 25th of January as long as I posted once daily. I “missed” the actual event at Sacred Ruminations … but am using that one to reflect a bit.
MPJ – Thanks and I love Haiku Friday too. Not only are the pieces fun to write, I love visiting other blogs and seeing what THEY share as well kind of like I do with T-13s.
Thanks for your comments. I’m sorry to take so long to respond but I’ve been busy with my 101 Things About Me list (including more than anyone wants to know I’m sure, but it’s an interesting reflective exercise all the same) and passing along awards to others.
Hugs and blessings,
