I hope you enjoy your visit. If you're looking for something specific, check out the links to posts by category in my sidebar and down a ways. They'll assist with tracking down different types of posts found on each of my three blogs. You might also enjoy checking out the other sites: Sacred Ruminations, Blog Rolls, Bling & Blurbs, and Happily Retired Gal.

I hope you'll look around & leave comments
then visit me at my new blog ...

where I publish as myself
rather than under a
pseudonym.

I've not had much time for posting or blog visits, but if you're interested I hope you'll find time to check out my new blog, Giraffe Journal or my Labyrinth Journal website ... both self hosted at WordPress.

A bit of Christmas Cheer ...

Make Time for Small Reflections

Photobucket
I received this in email and decided to pass it along
with a reminder to have a safe celebration
on Christmas Eve ...

IF YOU SEE A FAT MAN ...

Photobucket

Who's jolly and cute,

Photobucket

Wearing a beard and
a red flannel suit,

Photobucket

And if he is chuckling
and laughing away,

Photobucket

While flying around
in a miniature sleigh,
With eight tiny reindeer
to pull him along,

Then let's face it...

Your eggnog's too strong!

Small Reflections ... Smile Back

If you missed it earlier today, the next post contains
a brief holiday video from the Story People
and a Santa Update from Norad
along with some musings.

Thought for Today
"In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukkah' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukkah!' or (to the atheists) 'Look out for the wall!'"

Somewhere our e-mail lines cross. I received this one today, too. I always enjoy a re-run of something good.

Merry Christmas!!

Really funny! I needed a giggle, my oldest son and one of my daughters were going to surprise me by showing up for a Christmas visit with my youngest son and I only to have to cancel their trips due to the weather. The most important thing though is that they are safe and we can do it later. So, thanks for the smiles and good feelings you always share on your blog!

There's a credit card commercial airing this season. Santa personalizing his credit card with photos. The head elf warns him that they are already two continents behind and Santa should get to work. Santa yells, "Hold your eggnog!" In my family we say, "Hold your potatoes!" which has a slightly vulgar sound to it.

Anyway, rambling.

Best wishes and happy Christmas.
