Great Picture. Love the Emerson quote too!

Absolutely beautiful...makes having survived winter seem worth it.

I have an amazing salmon colored rose that blooms in my yard all summer long...it is breath taking!

Just gorgeous! Happy WW.

Annie – Thanks … me too ;--)

Killashandra – They DO smell lovely but since I’m ‘allergic’ to flowers I don’t bring them indoors.

Rayne – They’re heartier than they look … especially the ‘apricot’ roses that last a long time!

Randall – I’m glad you enjoyed both.

Phyl – Yes … though in Southern California it’s hard to call what we experience ‘winter’ when compared to Ohio ;--)

SandyM – Thanks and happy WW back at ya!

I appreciate each of you visiting and sharing your responses. I’ve not had time to ‘visit’ WW posts yet because I took time to write and publish my One Single Impression post today. I’ve also tried to catch up with visitors from Fun Monday and Heads or Tails first … but I’ll get to your blogs as soon as time permits. Hope you’re all having a wonderful Wednesday! Molly and I are about to take a walk … but I’ll be back ;--)

I love your collage! My hot pink azalea just bloomed. I think I post its photos next WW!

Such a beautiful collage of roses! I can almost smell them :)

Beautiful collage and a fitting thought. I could just pick that strawberry, I can't wait until we get local strawberries in the shops but it will be a while yet..

Are all those flowers growing in your garden? They are lovely.

Those are all truly lovely!

Ivanhoe – I’ll look forward to seeing them. My white azalea is spent, but the pink one is still going strong with blossoms.

Sandy – The irises and daffodils have given way to roses (and a few strawberries) … and I’m getting ready to plant some more pansies because they do well on my parkway all summer long. The roses DO smell lovely.

ChrisB – Actually I did pick & eat that strawberry (along with a few others) shortly after snapping the photo. I love the way Picasa allows me to make collages like this quite easily. We’re so fortunate here in California. I’ve enjoyed strawberries for several weeks already.

Eve – Yes, all the photos are of flowers from my yard ;--)

Lisa Marie – Thanks … I do feel quite fortunate and am happy to share!

Thanks to each of you for stopping by today and sharing your thoughts. If I’ve not been by your blog yet, I’ll make it a priority for tomorrow. I hope you have a pleasant evening.

great show. Our arid climate provides different species of flowers, your are wonderful.

Nekked Lizard Man – Thanks ;--)
Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe how ‘water’ blesses Southern California and changes the kinds of plants we’re able to grow here. Looks like you must have started blogging about the same time that I did, and find yourself just as ‘pleasantly surprised’ by this ‘virtual’ world. Thanks for stopping by.

I am now happily enjoying the flower pics without feeling the envy that's been apparent in the past months--Spring is definitely here in Maryland, and I'm enjoying the bounty, too!

Have a lovely weekend!

storyteller said...

Karen – I’m delighted ‘Spring’ has finally arrived for you in Maryland so you can enjoy your own yard and garden whenever you need to be ‘refreshed’ or renewed. Thus far my weekend has been wonderful. Hope yours is too ;--)

Beautiful flowers! I'm impressed with your skillz!!

storyteller said...

Grandy – Thanks, however methinks it has more to do with where I live (and the fact that I have time to ‘weed and water’ regularly) than any ‘skillz’ I possess … seriously! I appreciate you stopping by and hope all’s well with you and yours ;--)
