HaikuSkyWatchFriday is at Happily Retired Gal
Friday already?
Don't know how this week vanished
without any posts
since Monday when I
celebrated my birthday ...
Seems my scheduled
activities were
just a bit too much because
today I feel sick ;--(
Sore throat ... drippy nose
body aches from head to toe ...
I'm 'holed up' alone
hoping that Zicam
Vitamin C and bed rest
helps me recover!
Thanks to everyone
for lovely birthday wishes ...
Gratitude abounds!!!
in Haiku Friday this week.

3. Although it's been just a couple of weeks since I cut back my roses, new growth is springing forth already. Isn't that amazing? I certainly hope the wintry weather over many parts of the country comes to an end soon and that others see signs of Spring in the days & weeks ahead.
4. Excellent weather followed Monday's birthday surprise rainbow permitting my sister & I to spent several hours walking the nearby wetlands with cameras in hand ... birdwatching. I hope to share some of those photos for Camera Critters this weekend.
5. I enjoyed the second meeting of my Writers Workshop last night. I look forward to reading the pieces of writing submitted by classmates this week and participating in discussing the work next Thursday in addition to receiving feedback on the writing I shared.

The pictures from faves 1-3 are beautiful! I do not have a green thumb, so I'm in awe of gardeners.
Happy belated birthday! I hope it was a good one.
Lovely photos, as always. Hoping you are feeling well in a minute. A day of rest is a good thing. Take care!
Great list and I looooove the flowers!! All we seem to grow is weeds!! :)
So sorry you are feeling sick, sweetie. I fixed my anonymous situation on your "follow" widget. Seems like there's a lot of that going around this week! Hope you feel better soon.

Gorgeous flowers and how fun to go bird watching. That is something I wanted to try this summer.
Oh no, one of my favorite bloggers had a birthday this past Monday, and I missed it. Boy, am I ever behind in visiting.
Anyway, I'll take this opportunity to wish a very HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY. I hope it was one of the best, if not the very best, birthdays you have ever had.
Leaving tomorrow for our cruise. I'll visit when I get back, which will be around the middle of March.
Oh, how I love your flower collages! I don't know what the yellow ones are, but they are every bit as beautiful as the irises. Thanks for brightening my cold, snowy day!
What beautiful collages! Oh, how I long for this snow to melt away. I think it's time to bring out the seed catalogs!
I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. May you get better soon!
Seems like I've been avoiding a full on cold for a month. I get a sniffle and I take Nyquil, and I stave off the cold.
So far so good. Maybe I'll make it through the rest of winter. But I usually get a spring cold and I'm not looking forward to that at all.
What beautiful flowers. Hopefully we will soon see some like this in the yard (if it ever warms up!).
A glorious collection of spring flowers!
Gorgeous flowers and collages and haiku! You never disappoint.

The blue and the yellow flowers are so vivid! I have no idea what the yellow ones, either, but I like them! And the collage idea is goo, because you can share so many more photos that way!
So sorry it took me a few days to get over here Virginia...I've been busy with work. So sorry you have been sick..and I hope you're feeling better by now sweetie. Gorgeous flowers...especially those purple iris photos. Please take care my sweet friend....Love, Joy
