Storyteller,

I love the photos. My dog would never keep a visor on.

Here are my answers:
Goodbye :: and I say Hello (Beatles song, I think)
Cage :: prison
Buddy :: Holly
Magic words :: I love you
Library :: a portal to the world
Fall in love :: When I... (another song!)
Tense :: past
Work! :: Play!
Empty :: headed (me today LOL)
Heat wave :: Yuck!

I'm surprised I didn't think of Nicholas Cage. We just watched a movie he was in a few days ago!

I love bird chirping weather, too.

Here's hoping the heat wave ends soon. Have a great week!

Hugs,
Tina

What a great picture! I've been watching the Cormorants teach their babies to swim. (Cormorants are the only birds are as adept under water as in the air.) The babies get frightened and climb up on their mommies. The mommy pushes the baby under the water. Amazing.

Great mutterings! I hope you survive the heat - I hear it's hot hot hot! :)

Now, I must admit, my dad does put a colored bandanna on his Wolfdog when they go out, but that is so people realize that he is a pet and not a wild wolf. But that hat - hehehehehe - that was too funny! Thanks for the smiles.

You have been added to the blogroll. I apologize that it took so long, and I appreciate your patience. I am attempting to update it every chance I get, and I do always read ALL the comments sent to me or Camera-Critters. We have had my step-child visiting over the past three weeks, and having company in addition to my working three jobs has caused me to be slow at getting some things done. Again, I apologize and appreciate your patience.

Akelamalu – I love spreading sunshine & laughter! I tried accessing your blog earlier and managed to leave a comment on one of the posts, but it took FOREVER … so I’ll wait until another time an hope things work better next time.

Tina – Molly would never keep a visor on either … in fact she rips off the bandana the folks that groom her put on within minutes. Thanks for ‘muttering’ along with me today … I enjoyed your answers … especially for the 1st … 3rd … and 4th words.

Hootin’ Anni – There’s no one but me to empty my trash ;--)

Claudia – It’s a little cooler today (but not much). It’s supposed to cool down over the next few days and that will be a relief! Glad you enjoyed the photo. How fun to watch the Cormorants. I’d love to see that myself ;--)

Misty Dawn – I like seeing ‘bandana’ dogs and wish Molly would leave one on … but alas, it takes her minutes to rip it off and shred whatever the groomer puts on her when she’s clean. As for this little dog in the pink visor … I couldn’t resist snapping the photo … though I didn’t know what I’d do with it at the time. It seemed perfect for Camera Critters though. Thanks for adding me to the blogroll. I understand busy … and patience is my middle name these days. Working three jobs??? That seems excessive to me and it’s no wonder some things are on the back-burner.

Karen – I thought the visor was pretty funny myself, but the dog seemed fine with it. Thanks for ‘muttering’ along with us today. I missed your responses last week, but understand you don’t always have time to play. Your ‘magic words’ are perfect … and I can tell you’re still thinking about Nathan going to school this Fall.

Simone and Amanda – Thanks … I enjoyed yours too and left a comment on your blogs a while ago.

Teena – Yup … it certainly was ;--)

Tamy – Me either. Molly would have it off immediately … and torn to shreds so I’d never put it on her again!

Sandy (ibeati) – Actually, the little dog seemed pleased with himself as if he knew he looked stylish! Interesting mutterings today! “Nicholas’ and ‘Holly’ seemed popular. Hope you picked up food for your fridge ;--)

Shannon – Definitely silly … but the dog did seem happy. I noticed that Nicholas Cage was a common response too.

Vic Grace – Me too because it makes me smile just thinking of it!

To all – I appreciate you dropping by and hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and blessings,

She certainly looks like a pampered pooch, but my boys would never go for hats. In the winter they do wear sweaters, and Kipling even has boots as his paws are overly sensitive to road salt. :)

love the dog photos! i would have played your game, but i'm a bit brain dead from the heat (i'm in southern california too...)

Joyce said...

Hopefully the doggie is comfortable as well as cute. :)

I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately (haven't even been doing much blogging). Things have just been so busy.

Hope you have a good week!

Sue – Molly won’t wear ANYTHING (other than her purple collar & tags) … though we’ve tried to make her a beach bandanna pooch periodically. I love Kipling bags!!! I didn’t know they made ‘doggie’ accessories, but if we lived in a different locale … perhaps Molly would appreciate wearing boots too?

Ratmammy – Glad you enjoyed the photos and I fully understand about the ‘brain-dead’ thing. This heat is so unusual … especially for this time of year! Strange weather all over the world it seems.

Joyce – Dunno about comfort, but the dog seemed fine with it. Not to worry. I understand busy … and methinks REAL LIFE takes precedence over blogging ;--)

To all – Thanks for the visit and I hope you have a marvelous Monday!

Empty the trash -- that is very good. I did that this morning.

BYTW -- my teen daughter wants to get a "tablet" for her computer. It comes with the latest Photo Shop Elements which she does not want.
She said she would give it to me. How generous of her! We have Paint Shop Pro on our computers now but this sounds like it could be fun or dangerous!

storyteller said...

Jean (at Penny Lane) – Trash day is Tuesday here, so I put it out yesterday. I’ve not looked into ‘tablets’ but think I might want one at some point. I’ve just got the ‘regular’ Paint Shop on this old laptop … but I might ‘invest’ in the ‘Pro’ version at some point once my new laptop arrives. Photoshop Elements 6 is definitely fun … and much simpler to use than the earlier versions. I can definitely lose track of time using it … so methinks it’s fun AND dangerous ;--)

Did you say strange??? I'll have you know my doggie has hats and clothes and am getting her boots too. I'm just say'n. *giggling* I wonder if they do other accessories. She could carry her dog treats in a purse. Hey, there's something I could create!

Anyhoo, couldn't w82 drop by. Haven't had the Internet all week. What a Bumm. Er. In CO Spgs right now then heading to KS. Will get to see a bit of family but then gotta run.

Hope to see you next week. I have some fun pics I'm excited to post. *huggies and blessings* to you too friend.

Chuck – Hehehh … somehow I’m not surprised to learn your doggie has a ‘wardrobe’ … though I’ve promised Molly I won’t play ‘dress up’ with her. I’ve seen doggie ‘backpacks’ I’ve been tempted by however because I’d love to let her carry her own toys to the beach ;--)

I’m always delighted whenever you’re able to drop by and I hope you’re enjoying your trip. I’ll look forward to your pictures when you return. By that time I should have my new laptop ;--)
