I hope you enjoy your visit. If you're looking for something specific, check out the links to posts by category in my sidebar and down a ways. They'll assist with tracking down different types of posts found on each of my three blogs. You might also enjoy checking out the other sites: Sacred Ruminations, Blog Rolls, Bling & Blurbs, and Happily Retired Gal.

I hope you'll look around & leave comments
then visit me at my new blog ...

Giraffe Journal

and/or website ... Labyrinth Journal
both self-hosted at WordPress
where I publish as myself
rather than under a
pseudonym.

I've not had much time for posting or blog visits, but if you're interested I hope you'll find time to check out my new blog, Giraffe Journal or my Labyrinth Journal website ... both self hosted at WordPress.

Thanks for your visit and have a delightful day ;--)

What Happened to my SiteMeter Icons or Why Can't I Log onto my Account There Today?

Hmmm
the little icons
have disappeared
from both my Blogs
though the Page Element
with the codes
still seem to be present.
Did this happen to anyone else
or should I be feeling paranoid about now?

Addendum added here (at the urging of my "aging angels" one of whom is pictured here) in gratitude to Annie for her timely comment ... a link to lift your spirits (as it did mine) offered for for your viewing pleasure :)

Probably just an issue with the site. Don't worry about it! Sure it will be back soon.

Ah yez ... thanks for the reminder Annie.
"No worries" ... I'm humming "Hakuna Matata" from "The Lion King" as I listen to the You Tube clip I plan to add to today's post when I finish leaving this response to your timely comment. I figure others might enjoy the reminder as well :)

glad it's not just me - my sitemeter is on the go-slow too.

I wish we had weather like yours. Here in Norfolk, UK - it is just grey and dismal during November and it would take more than a few cuddlies from the Lion King to lift my spirits today!!!

Hi RB
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know you've had problems too. Part of MY concern today is the fact that the SiteMeter icons have VANISHED from the sidebars of both of my Blogs and when I try to log-on to SiteMeter, I get a message telling me I can't log on now but to try again later. Seems strange ... but I'm going with the flow for now anyway :)

As for our sunny weather, I confess (as a So Cal native) I'm a complete "sissy" when it comes to cold, wet, damp, snowy, climates (& don't care much for the exceedingly dry hot ones like "Arid-zona" either). Wind & earthquakes I can live with :)

I had those exact same problems, right after I made some changes to my site. I thought it was something I had done, but maybe not. I ended up finally connecting with sitemeter and reinstalling my icon.

Thanks for stopping and adding your input. Following your lead, I tried reinstalling the icons (from files saved on my computer) but still have no icons on either Blog and still can't log on to SiteMeter. I did send a request for Tech Support (finally & with some difficulty, but that's another story for a different time) and have been informed it's a problem they're aware of an working on. Apparently they've made some rather significant changes to how thing work on their site. Those modifications along with the added traffic after Thanksgiving must have created this situation. So ... I'll wait and watch to see what happens.

Mary,
You're quite welcome :)

To all
I'm happy to report my SiteMeter icons have reappeared on their own (just as unexpectedly as they disappeared), so the problem solved itself. Good reminder :)
