It Rained All Day in Southern California
I can't remember the last time we had a long steady rainy day like this. Actually I enjoyed today's weather throughout the day. We really do need the rain ... especially this steady drizzily kind ... so it soaks in rather than runs off. The only frustrating thing was that Molly and I didn't get outside to play or walk. She's funny about rain. For a dog who runs into the surf the minute she gets to Dog Beach, she doesn't like rain at all ... even the misty kind like this.
I took pictures, but can't transfer them from my camera to my computer because McAfee has been scanning my files ALL DAY LONG! (Sigh) It usually doesn't take this long, but around noon I noticed an automatic update come through, and I'm wondering if that caused complications.
Anyway .. EVERYTHING has run S L O W L Y all day, and I'm out of patience. So, I'm going to publish this without photos tonight. NaBloPoMo ends today, and I don't want to miss the last day when I've done so well all month. :)
Perhaps add pix tomorrow once the scan is finished. I'll leave the laptop running and hope it turns itself off (or goes to sleep) once McAfee is done.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures! Congrats on NaBloPoMo.

Thanks Annie :)
I'm proud of what I've accomplished on both my blogs since I started on October 22nd. Who knew I'd love it so much? Encouragement and support from you and others made things much easier and I'm grateful.
As for rainy day pix ... they'll be forthcoming as soon as I can get them transferred from camera to computer.
Hugs and blessings,
Wasn't the rain glorious? I so enjoyed it! I hope it was a sign of a long, wet, winter. We've got snow on the mountains here, and it's beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by Mixed Grill Favorites and leaving a comment. I really appreciated your kind words. And congrats on NaPloPoMo! I joined late and didn't fair so well. But there's always next year, huh?
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for visiting me here. Yes ... the rain was wonderful (though not for the people who live in the burn areas that experienced mud-slides). I note you're located farther to the north, so you probably get more rain than we do down here.
I found your Blog when reading a recent post at Kikipotamus the Hobo's blog, liked what I saw, and plan to return when time permits. I love the way the links help us navigate the Blogosphere. I've enjoyed all the "virtual friends" I made through NaBloPoMo and think I'll make it an annual event. Of course, I may keep posting every day just because it's fun :)
Hugs and blessings,
Oh, Dog Beach!
Now that we live in Upstate New York, I think Mowgli (my yellow lab) dreams of glorious days running on the beach, and being wiped out on the return to Orange.
Thanks for the warm reminder!

I'm happy to be of service. If you & Mowgli are ever in the neighborhood of HB, stop by and we'll go for a walk/romp together at Dog Beach :)
I imagine Upstate NY is a big change for BOTH of you. My sister & her husband left your neck of the woods a few weeks ago in their RV and are currently in Georgia ... headed for Florida at the end of the month. They're "happily retired" like me and exploring the USA for a couple of years.
Thanks for stopping by and reminiscing ...
Hugs and blessings,
