I hope you enjoy your visit. If you're looking for something specific, check out the links to posts by category in my sidebar and down a ways. They'll assist with tracking down different types of posts found on each of my three blogs. You might also enjoy checking out the other sites: Sacred Ruminations, Blog Rolls, Bling & Blurbs, and Happily Retired Gal.

I hope you'll look around & leave comments
then visit me at my new blog ...

Giraffe Journal

and/or website ... Labyrinth Journal
both self-hosted at WordPress
where I publish as myself
rather than under a
pseudonym.

I've not had much time for posting or blog visits, but if you're interested I hope you'll find time to check out my new blog, Giraffe Journal or my Labyrinth Journal website ... both self hosted at WordPress.

Thanks for your visit and have a delightful day ;--)

Monday Morning Musings and Delurking Day

Haiku Friday #105

It seems I've not 'mused' in the mornings for more than a month ... so I'm making it a priority to do so today ... just because. It's the 2nd Monday of the month and that means it's ...
'Retired Ladies Lunch'
... so (since time is limited for posting & visiting today), I've decided to pass on Fun Monday again, but I hope to get back into the habit of participating one of these days because it IS fun & the 'weekly challenges' do encourage me to step out of the proverbial 'box' ... venturing into unexplored territory periodically.

It's International Delurking Day! Ya KNOW you want to come out into the open and leave a comment, right???

As this entertaining video illustrates,
Smiles and Kind Words Matter ... seriously!

This clip is a bit longer than usual, but it captivated & held my attention all the way to the end ... and if you take the time to watch, I suspect you'll be glad you did. It's a love story that might even change YOUR life in subtle ways ;--)

Klaus of Virtua Gallery created this as (here I quote)...
"Nothing but an reminder, to get active when you walk in nature and find trash, that people left. I have a bag with me where ever I go and made it a habit to pick up what I can get to. Shaking your head and complain loudly will not bring back those who dropped the trash and have them take it away. In the meantime animals can get hurt by bottles, cans, wires, plastic stuff and what ever people throw away."
I've done this most of my life ... following the example of my Dad who taught us (by example) to leave a place cleaner than we found it.
Small Reflections ... Smile Back

That was so sweet! It reminds me of Proverbs 17:22, A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Okay, I'm trying to catch up now (and write that fiction!!!), but I'm going to try really hard to remember to come back and actually watch the clip. I trust you--if you say it's worthwhile, then it is!

I'm de-lurking! Just trying to catch up. I hope to get through the month of January and then get more control of my evenings again.
