Camera Critters #37 - Seagull at Sunset

Yesterday while snapping Sunset photos ...

I managed to capture this Seagull series.
Click to 'embiggen' for better viewing.
It's the best my little Casio Exilim can do ... but I'm thinking about getting myself a new camera ... have my eye on the Nikon D-60 at Costco. I suspect I'll never be anything other than an 'amateur' when it comes to photography, but a better camera couldn't hurt.

I love your collages. My husband is the photographer in this house. I'm terrible. I say if you love taking pictures then go for it. Getting a new camera couldn't hurt at all. I think you take great pictures.

Have a terrific Sunday. Big hug. :)

I think that your photos are great.

I love taking photographs and have discovered that the only way to learn and get better, is to keep practising !!! :-)

Those sunset photos are really lovely.

I found you!
I really like your collages -- the sunset collage is especially beautiful.
You do a good job with your current camera, but a new one might give you some additional options. But the important thing is to keep taking pictures!

Your sunset pictures are beautiful. Seagulls for some reason love those very high light fixtures.
I am in the market for a new camera myself. I just don't know what I'm looking for:o) Well I'll know it when I see it. Lisa

Your sunset photos are fabulous! And those seagulls are so cool.

We are shopping for a new camera as well. Nikon's are top on our list. Great choice with the D60!

Oh, a new toy! I'm sure you'll make good use of a new camera. :)

Seagulls remind me of the Holling Clancy Holling book, Seabird. Do you know it? Wonderful illustrations.

I just love those sky shots. I felt the same way while walking by the Nikon camera's at Costco. I would LOVE a new camera to replace my tiny point and shoot. :)

I can see the birds but yeah I think you would enjoy the Nikon, go for it! :)

I like the seagull collage, but if you know me at all, you know I'm also a major lover of sunsets, and that sunset collage is wonderful!!!

Go for the camera - you deserve it, and I think you take great pics!

I absolutely LOVE your collages, storyteller--so well done! I bought a new camera last year, and am wishing I'd sprung for something better--the quality has a lot to do with the photographer, but I do believe that you can do more with a better class camera.
