Whimsical Wednesday #7

Make Time for Small Reflections
I'm almost wordless at Sacred Ruminations today.
In case you missed them ... I left an award for all my 'followers' (see sidebar widget) last Friday ... and another animated award for ALL my 'bloggy friends' in my Morning Musings on Monday to enjoy and pass along to others. I know I've been busier than usual lately and haven't done as much blog visiting the last few weeks. I'm sorry if I've missed some of your posts, and am hopeful that I'll get a handle on 'life' soon.

In the meantime, I found this at
Yertle's of Smile, Play, Dream and shared today ... just because. Since I've never been 'a mom' ... and since I'm 'happily retired' ... I don't quite know what to make of my results, but I'll let them be and hope that I've done everything right. If you decide to take the quiz too, please leave a link in comments so I can see your results.

You are the World

Completion, Good Reward.

The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and as such represents saturnian energies, time, and completion.

The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). The Yoni symbolizes the great Mother, the cervix through which everything is born, and also the doorway to the next life after death. It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgments. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you've done everything right.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

There were options to receive your answer in various forms, and I chose to do this ... just because. The 'text' remained identical ... but the 'images' changed to the following:

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

Small Reflections ... Smile Back
Thought for Today
"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." Albert Schweitzer

Thank you for the spinning award. It's very cool :o)
I'm a Star:
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised.
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

(Wow! I'm speechless)

Very cool! I'm The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of intoxication with success.

Very interesting :)

What beautiful Tarot card images--and I've always believed that being a mother doesn't necessarily mean giving birth to an actual baby...there are so many things to give birth to, and so many ways to mother without having your own child. I think it fits you, storyteller.

And by the way, I'm the High Priestess--it's the card of "knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge." It feels apt.

I'm the High Priestess -
Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

Thanks for the quiz. It's always fun to do these. My results say I'm the world too. Just for the record you don't have to give birth to be a mother. I've met a few people in my life that have felt like my second mom. I have valued their friendship through the years. Take Care.

Thanks for doing this too. It is interesting to see the results. I keep getting the sense that you are "birthing" a new phase of your life, especially in your writing. Plus the love and caring I know you gave to your students, and to me and all of us in the blog world. Thank you.

The results are such fun! I like the rest of the card choices, also, but like the one you chose best.
