I hope you enjoy your visit. If you're looking for something specific, check out the links to posts by category in my sidebar and down a ways. They'll assist with tracking down different types of posts found on each of my three blogs. You might also enjoy checking out the other sites: Sacred Ruminations, Blog Rolls, Bling & Blurbs, and Happily Retired Gal.

I hope you'll look around & leave comments
then visit me at my new blog ...

Giraffe Journal

and/or website ... Labyrinth Journal
both self-hosted at WordPress
where I publish as myself
rather than under a
pseudonym.

I've not had much time for posting or blog visits, but if you're interested I hope you'll find time to check out my new blog, Giraffe Journal or my Labyrinth Journal website ... both self hosted at WordPress.

Thanks for your visit and have a delightful day ;--)

Whimsical Wednesday #8

Make Time for Small Reflections
Ruby Tuesday & HoTs are in the next post.
In case you missed these ...
1. On Sunday (after my Unconscious Mutterings) I shared an Autumn Test & made the following offer:
If you decide to take the quiz, I hope you'll either share your results in comments and/or on your Blog (leaving a link so I can read your results). As an incentive, I offer the following award to enjoy and share ... just because.
2. In Morning Musings on Monday, I shared a list of Natural Highs & special award incentive to participants ... and a Halloween Personality Quiz (found at Work of the Poet) with a second 'special award incentive' to encourage participation.
Remember ... you're invited to add one (or more) and pass along these Natural Highs on your own blog (or not) as you wish! Let's see if we can get this thing going again ... just because. Please leave me a link in comments if you decide to participate ;--)

I offer the following 'Halloween Quiz Award' to all those who decide to play along and share results in comments and/or leave a link to where you share on your own blog so I can find them easily.Methinks sharing such things in these 'troubled economic' times may help us all stay calm & centered by giving us a 'break' from our daily stressors.
3.
Check this out! Vixen (of Vixen's Den) makes LOVELY aprons and is having a Fall Apron Frenzy. Just click on the link for contest details.

Mama Zen at The Zen of Motherhood posted this 'Blogthing' ... and passing it along seems like the 'whimsical' thing to do ... especially in light of the 'mud-slinging' going on in the Presidential campaign currently. If you decide to share your results (either here in comments or with a link to the post on your blog), I offer you your choice of these two 'truth-telling awards' ... just because.

Click any of the images to make them larger.

You Are Very Honest

You tell it like it is, no matter what.

Even if the truth hurts, you'll dish it out.

And while some may get hurt by your honesty...

At least everyone knows where you stand!

This looks like an interesting quiz to take. I think my results would be that I'm very honest. Guess I'll find out when I take the quiz. Where do you find all these fun things?

Thank you very much for sharing. Through your blog, a lot of people including me of course have a chance to read and learn from. I have read some of your post and I really enjoyed reading it. Thanks again and looking forward for more of your posting soon!

Okay, I tell a white lie on occassion but...

You do tend to tell the truth a lot
But you also stretch the truth on occasion
You figure a little lie isn't a big deal
As long as it doesn't hurt anyone too much!

My natural high, a nice walk in the evening with my tunes jamming.

Ah. Thomas Jefferson's saying which you quoted is profound: "It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself."

Sometimes it is quite a task to determine just what is true and what is false in issues and candidates . . .

Thank you for your cheery posts in the midst of stressful times. :)
