13 Thoughts about Sweets & Treats

1. Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first. Ernestine Ulmer

2. Research tells us fourteen out of any ten individuals likes chocolate. Sandra Boynton

3. Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread and pumpkin pie. Jim Davis

4. Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands - and then eat just one of the pieces. Judith Viorst

5. Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment of having a scoop of ice cream fall from the cone. Jim Fiebig

6. Seize the moment. Remember all those women on the Titanic who waved off the dessert cart. Erma Bombeck

7. The 12-step chocoholics program: Never be more than 12 steps away from chocolate! Terry Moore

8. We dare not trust our wit for making our house pleasant to our friend, so we buy ice cream. Ralph Waldo Emerson

9. All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt! Charles Schulz

10. A little chocolate is like a love affair - an occasional sweet release that lightens the spirit. A lot of chocolate is like marriage - it seems so good at first but before you know it you've got chunky hips and a waddle-walk. Linda Solegato

11. After about 20 years of marriage, I'm finally starting to scratch the surface of that one. And I think the answer lies somewhere between conversation and chocolate. Mel Gibson, about what women want

12. Without ice cream, there would be darkness and chaos. Don Kardong

13. Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Coincidence? I think not! Author Unknown

That's an entertaining TT. I'm just wondering if this is a good moment to say that I'm actually indifferent to chocolate. I've always been able to take it or leave it.

Oh, I love number 4! To not eat all the chocolate I have in my hands--that would be a test of strength.

two and thirteen are super...they're all good tho, but I really LIKE the previous that I mentioned.

I'm sorry I haven't been visiting much today again. And yesterday. As soon as I got back online then another storm would hit our area, and we lost power for some time.

I'm now trying to catch up...AGAIN!!

Happy Thursday storyteller.

What a fun list. I loved #3 and #7!
As far as #13, all I know is that dessert is a known cure for being stressed.
