I hope you enjoy your visit. If you're looking for something specific, check out the links to posts by category in my sidebar and down a ways. They'll assist with tracking down different types of posts found on each of my three blogs. You might also enjoy checking out the other sites: Sacred Ruminations, Blog Rolls, Bling & Blurbs, and Happily Retired Gal.

I hope you'll look around & leave comments
then visit me at my new blog ...

Giraffe Journal

and/or website ... Labyrinth Journal
both self-hosted at WordPress
where I publish as myself
rather than under a
pseudonym.

I've not had much time for posting or blog visits, but if you're interested I hope you'll find time to check out my new blog, Giraffe Journal or my Labyrinth Journal website ... both self hosted at WordPress.

Thanks for your visit and have a delightful day ;--)

Make Time for Small Reflections
This is my 25th
Photo Hunt Theme: Lazy
I suspect I won't be the only one with 'critters' today.
and my 29thMisty Dawn started the meme and explains the rules here.

and Photo Hunt this week.
This is my 23rd
I confess that it's been a bit harder to stay 'upbeat' recently while listening to the 'financial' news and more 'electoral' mud-slinging when what I'm looking for is 'substantive exchanges & ideas' to get us out of this chaotic mess, but I'm choosing to smile today because ...

1. According to Going Like Sixty, it's International Dogs Rule Day and we're advised to 'Smooch Your Pooch' today. Interestingly I devoted this week's T-13 post to 'adorable puppies' in a PSE6 collage.

2. I appreciate reminders from other bloggers of 'beauty' and 'possibility' in the face of challenges like those shared recently by Jen Lemen in A Brave Place to Start ... Karen Maezen Miller (aka Mommy Zen) at Cheerio Road and Yolanda at Perfectly Imperfect.

3. The shared laughter is wonderful too in links like these:
Gattina's Funny Quotes about Politicians
Tamy's Hilarious Animal Photos
Mariposa's Mottos to Work By
Mary's Sometimes Men should just Shut Up
Michelle's Cab Driver goes to Heaven
4. Have you seen this clip of Wanda Sykes on YouTube talking about the financial bailout.

5. I'm thinking about my 1st Blogoversary ... coming up in 11 days ... devoting yesterday's Haiku to that topic. I also created new awards (sharing links in my Whimsical Wednesday post this week) ... and tried to get a 'Natural Highs' meme going again, just because.

Your dog and cat are so cute! Love the sleepy pictures. We had a dusting of snow overnight so our dogs are curled up in front of the fireplace today. :)

I think I'll give my old doggy a good brushing in lieu of a smooch (doggie breath). :P

Thanks for spreading the upbeat thoughts. :)

Yes, it is a little unsettling right now isn't it? But I think it'll be a good thing. Help get some perspective on the things that really matter in life.

Happy Smiley Saturday and congrats on almost reaching that 1 year milestone. You've achieved a lot in that time. :)

How cute - I tried to get a bed for Tag once, because we think he already has arthritis and he gets very sore... but the puppy tore his bed to pieces :-( At least your critters look as if they appreciate their beds. hehe
