CameraCritters#21 - UnconsciousMutterings#19

Make Time for Small Reflections
Scroll down for Unconscious Mutterings ...
This is my 21stMisty Dawn started the meme and explains the rules here:
Ms. Kitty can drive Molly nutz ...will have to wait. Sigh!
I'm having TECHNICAL difficulties with this

morning's video ... and have decided to skip this one today
and share a collage instead this week.

Give Molly a ball and she's a happy dog!
Click for others participating in Camera Critters this week.

I'm participating for the 19th time today.
How about you?

What comes to YOUR mind?

If you'd like to play here, copy and paste the clues in comments along with your responses ... or post on your blog and let me know so I can visit ;--)

Here are MY responses: I say ... and you think ... ?
  1. Signature :: sites like MyLiveSignature.com and Coolsig.com tell how to create one for email, but I've not experimented with it just yet
  2. Olympics :: I've been obsessed ... admittedly. I've 'blogged' about the Olympics often this past week.
  3. 100% :: Michael Phelps managed to win 8 Gold Medals in 8 events in Beijing after winning 6 Gold medals in the same 8 events in Athens ... giving him 14 gold medals over two Olympics. How 'kewl' is that?
  4. Damn! :: Dara Torres (41 year old Olympic swimmer) missed the Gold in the 50m Splash 'n Dash by 1/100th of a second ... stood on the podium to receive her medal immediately afterwards (missing the opportunity to swim down and get her usual massage) ... then returned to swim the final leg of the Women's 4 x100m Medley (with just 4 minutes to ready herself before the start).
  5. Gold :: 38 year old runner Tomescu-Dita of Romania pulled ahead half-way through the women's marathon and ran alone and unchallenged to a win in 26.44 minutes.
  6. Fresh and natural :: Jamba Juice
  7. Fraction :: tiles ... a 'kewl' math manipulative to teach fractional concepts in a concrete, hands-on way
  8. Hurry :: up and wait
  9. Summer :: Olympics in London next time around ... 2012!
  10. 29th :: Olympiad in Beijing ... celebrating 5000 years of history in the spectacular Opening Ceremonies on 8-8-08!

Your turn: I say ... and you think ... ?

  1. Signature ::
  2. Olympics ::

Molly looks so happy!

I've enjoyed the Olympics, too, and managed to record the women's gymnastics finals. Keep watching that, thinking, "I could do that." In my dreams. :))

Yep, I'd definitely say you're Olympically obsessed. ;)

There isn't really any significance to the 29th of June, it's just what popped up in my head when I did the muttering.

Storyteller,

Molly is such a sweet dog. I love the photos of her!

Here's my muttering:
1) Signature :: "It is of interest to note that while some dolphins are reported to have learned English -- up to fifty words used in correct context -- no human being has been reported to have learned dolphinese." - Carl Sagan
2) Olympics :: Hooray fo Michael Phelps and Darrah Torres!
3) 100% :: Correct
4) Damn! :: the torpedoes, full speed ahead. - Farragut
5) Gold :: fish
6) Fresh and natural :: organic
7) Fraction :: of a second
8) Hurry :: sale ends soon!
9) Summer :: "time and the livin' is easy"
10) 29th :: Massachusetts Regiment that was part of the Irish Brigade for a time during the Civil War

I don't look at yours until I have answered. (I'm easily influenced! LOL) After I saw your answers, I realized how badly I missed the strong association to the Olympics in just about every word! I like your answers. :-)

hugs,
Tina

To everyone – I do enjoy Camera Critters and Unconscious Mutterings on the weekends. I appreciate each of you visiting and sharing your thoughts on one and/or both parts of my Sunday post and visiting your blogs is always delightful as well. Molly IS a happy dog … makes a great CC ‘subject’ … and she does LOVE playing ‘fetch’ with her ‘slobbery ball’ … As for my ‘mutterings’ … I am admitted ‘Olympics Obsessed’ so that’s where my mind went repeatedly this week. I’d like to offer a special thanks to Tina for ‘muttering along’ in comments. I’m not so sure the ‘words’ themselves had so much to do with the Olympics as ME having ‘the games’ on my mind ;--) I do hope you’re EACH having a wonderful week!
Hugs and blessings,

I think it's the name - My MOLLY is the same exact way... all that matters in life is the ball (and Mommy - but Mommy WITH a ball is Heaven hehehe)

MistyDawn – You could be right. The name Molly just suits my little lab better than any other I considered using … and I can’t imagine calling her anything else. It is fun to have such an actively playful pooch except when I’m trying to get something done ;--)
