Mellow Yellow Monday - Saturday Walk

Make Time for Small Reflections
Camera Critters is in the next post
Shadow Shot Sunday & Belated BYBS-Monday Motivator
are at Sacred Ruminations.

This is my 1st Mellow Yellow post
at Small Reflections
but I've published 4 Mellow Yellow posts
previously at Happily Retired Gal.

While walking with my
sister Saturday between
camera classes

I spied 'yellow' and
used my Nikon D60
to snap photographs.

Below I've collaged
five of them with PSE
6 ... Irvine Marketplace.

No we didn't stop
because we had eaten lunch
at BJs, a favorite

restaurant of my
sister. We shared a
chicken salad and

another dessert
and that explains
why we were walking ;--)

Another Addendum
Once again I'll be
attending a luncheon with
my retired friends

for it's the second
Monday of the month ... We've met
like this for 8 years!

I love this idea of seeking out a specific color--I imagine it really sharpens your observation skills! And that quote--it seems to be speaking to me. Perhaps instead of "finding" the time for a walk (as mentioned in a comment in your Ruminations blog), I should actually be "making" the time!

That looks very inviting - did you not stop awhile?

LOVE them!

And what's with this shade...it has been pulling me, as my new header can attest to it! LOL
