Mike – That was MY reaction when I discovered these at Flickzzz. I’ve got Hawaii photos of my own, but have no clue where they are at the moment … so this is the next best thing for now. FYI – I shared the ‘kewl’ award at Sacred Ruminations and another too. You’ll find a little something for YOU there too.

Adelle – Yup … I’ve been thinking it’s been way too long since I’ve visited Hawaii. These images take me back.

Lori – It’s not a problem for me. The images are available to all at Flickzzz.

Yertle – Hehehe … seems like you just got back from vacation, but I do understand fully.

Clara – If you’ve never been, I hope you do get there. The islands are each unique and beautiful.

Carol – I’m not sure who took them, but perhaps you could find out at flickzzz.com?

Pamela – I suspect they may be ;--)

Alice Audrey – Yez … they take me away as well.

Alice (at I Was Born 2 Cree8) What are the chances that two bloggers named Alice would comment back to back? Thanks for leaving the links. I appreciate the options.

Tempest Knight – Definitely! The pace of life on these islands is just different … and special.

Ivanhoe – I’d delighted to have brightened your day!

To all - You’ve each brightened mine as well. I’m just checking in briefly before I get ready to rush off to my Photoshop Elements Class again. I love what I’m learning there (you can see a sample in Wednesday’s post), but I grow weary of the schedule and am looking forward to a break soon. Thanks so much for dropping by. I’ll be visiting blogs later this afternoon when I return home. I hope you each have a delightful day!

This is my favorite post of the whole week. Just beautiful. Hawaii is my all time favorite place and these photos brought back great memories. I just loved the smell when I was there - all the wonderful tropical flowers everywhere were so fragrant.

Thanks for a trip to Hawaii in 13 pix! I've been to Hawaii several times in the past. Beautiful Maui, Big Island (2), Oahu, Kauai. These days though takes too long to get there... :(

For the People, Tina, Cheryel, and Denise - I’m happy to share and delighted you each enjoyed these spectacular photos from Flickzzz.

Soul Pockets – Actually I’d love to be there right now too. It’s been a cRaZy day!

Maisie – What a lovely comment! It’s good to know you found my T-13 special ;--)

Gabriella – Tropical conjures up wonderful anticipation doesn’t it?

Chuck – You’re quite welcome! I’m always pleasantly surprised these days when I discover you’ve visited the blogosphere and shared … and some days I have more time than others.

WillThink4Wine, B Boys Mom, and Susan - Actually, I was ‘bowled over by the beauty’ when I discovered these photos at Flickzzz and thought these ‘too good to be true’ as well. That much beauty screamed to be shared … so that’s what I did. Seems like it’s a hit today ;--)

Mary, the teach – You’re most welcome. I’ve been to the Big Island and Oahu multiple times (too many to count actually) and to Maui twice … but I’ve not been to Kauai yet. I was sad to learn Aloha Airlines won’t be flying any longer because that was my favorite way to go. I have friends who have done it as a cruise, but that REALLY takes a long time!

Hootin’ Anni and Jo
I wish I could take photos like this! I do have my own pictures from my trips to the islands but don’t know exactly where they are at the moment because everything is is flux as I move ‘stuph’ from the old laptop to the new one and get organized all over again … differently in Vista. Most, however, won't compare with these.

To all – Thanks so much for visiting Small Reflections today. I’ve been to some of your blogs already but not others. I’m not sure how much more time I’ll have this evening, so I may be visiting tomorrow morning (or over the weekend) to catch up. I’m delighted these ‘island vacation’ images brightened your day and happy I decided to share.

Hawaii is on my list of places I MUST visit (ever since Magnum, PI was on TV ;))--such gorgeous photos! And I like the quote, too!

Goodness! In absolute awe....

I really wish I were there :) Fabulous choices!

Beautiful pictures. I love the sunsets. Happy TT.

I really enjoyed seeing your pictures of Hawaii. Those bring back good memories of when I visited there.

storyteller said...

Karen – I’m glad you enjoyed the photos & quote … and I hope you get to visit Hawaii one day first hand.

Sandy and Ann - Thanks so much for visiting. I’m delighted you enjoyed the scenes & sunsets (those are my favs too).

Betty – I wish I could take credit for doing more than finding these images online at Flickzzz. Alas, my Hawaii photos are lost somewhere on my old computer and/or some DVDs. I’m hoping they’ll surface soon as I continue to transfer files. I’m delighted you enjoyed these and that they awakened old memories of your own.

To all – Thanks so much for dropping by Small Reflections and sharing your thoughts. Hope you’ve had a wonderful week … and that the weekend is pleasant too.

You take vivid to a whole new level!

storyteller said...

SandyCarlson – I guess you could say that ‘vivid’ is what initially drew my attention to these photos from Flickzzz … then perhaps nostalgia and/or desire? I enjoyed revisiting them this morning after coming upon the email notification of your comment. Thanks for dropping by. I have no idea how you keep up with everyone (and everything) while you work too.
Hugs and blessings,
