Molly, Ms Kitty, My Sister and Me ...

Make Time for Small Reflections
Scroll down for Weekend Reflections & Window Views

Ms Kitty enjoyed

a few days of sunshine and

basked in semi-shade

on the patio
void of chairs since windy rains

have been predicted

The rains arrived here in Southern California around 2am Friday morning. It drizzled most of yesterday then in the late afternoon thunder & lightning accompanied heavier rains that continued throughout the night. It's very wet out this morning & this weather system is expected to continue through the day and overnight ... clearing tomorrow. I'm hoping my pansies survive.

Now that I've created a second account for Happily Retired Gal here at Blogger, I'm considering consolidating my ID when visiting (rather than maintaining a virtual 'split' personality) so I'm going to experiment with that today. Hope you like my 'new look' ...

I also really like the exclusion shot!

The fur on Kitty is an almost iridescent black. So the shadows overhead this handsome feline do not alter the color - they enhance it! Molly looks as pretty as ever as she trots into the shadowy alley.

I like the edit on the retailer - the artistic look of color and shadow is wonderful...

Great pictures of your babies, Virginia... I am sorry to hear that the rains are coming back to your area.

We had rain here for two days and then a dusting of snow last night... I'm ready for some sunshine.
Hugs,
Betsy

Nice shots! I love the exclusion effect, really nice. And the reflections in the REI window are wonderful, I like the way the tree reflection mimics the logo. Great catch! Kathy

Ms Kitty sure is a beauty, very beautiful! Sorry about the rains there. They were calling for snow here yesterday, but it didn't... THANK GOD! There's still a little bit of snow on the ground from the snow storm we had last week.

Ms. Kitty certainly seems content. She has a good home and she knows it. :-)

Do she and Molly get along well?

Interesting exclusion effect... makes her look rather spooky.

Happy Shadow Hunting this week!

Wonderful stuff, as usual! There is so much variety in your posts and it's always a pleasure to visit. As for animal siblings, that's just an reason we give ourselves for having more than one cat and dog;-) - your babies are very happy having your undivided attention :-)

Good reflections and I like the Exclusion effect it's cool. The poster edges work for me sometimes but other times it can be too much. It worked very well for your rainy mirror shot.

Miss Kitty reminds me of a big black cat I had as a kid. What a good lookin' gal she is!

Ms. Kitty looks like she's enjoying her relaxation in the sun. Poor Molly. She really wanted to go on the outing!
Daisy will wait around by the car, too, hoping she won't miss out. She's very disappointed if she doesn't get to go along.
Fun critter photos!
