T-13 Haiku Sky Watch-Bird Migration

Make Time for Small Reflections
Thanks to Hootin' Anni for this nifty T-13 graphic
in anticipation of St. Patrick's Day!

One morning this week
as I opened the French Doors
intending to feed

Ms Kitty this sight
greeted me and I captured
thirteen photographs

as this flock of birds
flew across the cloudy skies
in front of my house.

Click to embiggen for better viewing.
One 'as is' and twelve
cropped & then collaged by me
using Photoshop.

I have no idea
just how many birds passed by
but each photograph

captured different
views as this flock migrated
through this area.

Update
What a busy week!
Seems I've done too much again
because I've been ill.

Taking time to rest
I've not blogged nor visited
for the past few days.

Today I've combined
sev'ral memes in an attempt
to remain current.

Hopefully I shall
recover soon and attempt
to catch up, but please

bear with me if I
don't drop by your blog until
I'm healthy again.

Maybe you need some Rock and Rye to help you along tonight. Hope you feel better soon.
I am not a bird fan, but you sure did find a lot of them. We have them come down here once in a while too, especially in the winter.
We also have Snow Birds come in, those walk on two legs.

The birds, although covering less area than the sky appear to own these skies!

Sorry you were ill. I had a sick day this week myself. Something in the air? Love your flock - any clue what kind of birds they were?

Happy Friday!

So many memes, so little time! Love the birds. There are some birds in one of my sky pictures this week, too - but they're not as easy to see.

I hope you are feeling better now! I looked at the photos and hoped they were geese flying back to Canada announcing that Spring is not far behind!

Here in my part of Indina we have sand hill cranes. About 10,000 vistus 2 times a year. They stop here to feed and then move on to where they spend summer and winter.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce

We're eagerly anticipating the return of some quail who reside in the bushes behind our place. There are quite a few feral cats around, and some domesticated mousers as well, so it's always a surprise when we see the bustling little covey doing their thing out back.

Those are some great shots. Thank you so much for sharing. Sorry I'm late getting around. The skies are an ominous blue. The birds seem to be enjoying their day.
