I'm smiling today because ...
1. Although I'm hopelessly behind on just about everything, life (even when busy) is good.
2. I enjoyed spending yesterday afternoon with friends ... celebrating J's birthday at Duke's (enjoying my usual meal there), then meandering through a Craft Fair near the HB Pier.
3. If you're in need of some chuckles today, I suggest you visit Witty Wednesday at Ms Cellania for a good laugh or JibJab's latest mini-movie about the Presidential election campaign.
4. Lightening posted some funnies at the Smiley Saturday site too that made me laugh just now when I went there to add my link ;--)

Ratmammy – Yup … happy AND exhausted! She slept for DAYZ when we got home … literally.

Mike – Glad you enjoyed this photo of Molly and got to see the JibJab photo too. Sorry you’re having issues with Blogger again, but am delighted you managed to get through here.

Christy – I learned (the hard way) that picking Molly up from Camp Ilene ‘ungroomed’ was never a good idea no matter how short her stay. They’ve got swimming pools and lots of dirt … and, of course, Molly loves both ;--)

Tammy, Juliana, and Picturing
She is both of those and more. Exuberant is a good descriptor most of the time, which is why she returns home tuckered out. This time she got a ‘nick’ under her left eye that took WEEKS to heal … earning her the nickname ‘Scarface’ for a while, but she’s her pretty self again.

Crafty Gardener – Molly’s happy almost constantly … except when I’m leaving in the mornings on Tuesday and Thursdays for my PSE6 class.

ChrisB – She LOVES to go to Camp Ilene, but is always happy to return home as well. As for the links to your Witty Wednesday … I’ve done that a few times for Smiley Saturday and folks have commented they appreciate the link. You outdid yourself THIS week and I love introducing ‘virtual friends’ to one another!

Troy and Martha – You’re welcome … and are SO right about the much needed sleep! If you visit tomorrow’s Camera Critters you’ll see her impersonating Rip Van Winkle ;--)

April – Thanks. Molly loves compliments … and leaves a ‘bandana’ on for a few minutes under normal circumstances … seldom more than half an hour. In this instance, she was too tired to rip it off for a few days.

Betty – I’m glad you enjoyed my latest photos of Molly. She looks like she’s wearing eye liner doesn’t she?

LingoVise – Yup! I figure when I go on vacation, she should enjoy herself too … so I found this ‘cage-free’ place in Corona about a half hour from here and make arrangements to leave when there whenever I travel. She loves the place because there are lots of dogs to play with and fun things to do there.

Carletta – She DOES look ‘spiffy’ in a bandana, but doesn’t much like wearing one for very long. Maybe one day when she’s a bit older?

Sandy (i beati) – That’s ME … and whole bunch of others out there in this ‘virtual world’ who participate in Camera Critters … along with ‘cat lovers’ and other animal lovers of all kinds.

Tere – Yez … she’s tuckered for sure. They tell me she plays almost non-stop when she’s there and that it’s normal for her to sleep long and hard when she returns home … and she does.

To all – Molly and I appreciate all of you dropping by today and sharing your thoughts. I’ll be showing what she looked like for the next few days in tomorrow’s installment of Camera Critters here at Small Reflections. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. I’m doing my best to get around to everyone … and if I don’t make it today, watch for me tomorrow.
Hugs and blessings,

I couldn't help but have a smile when I saw the grin on the doggy face!

Thanks for your visit to my CC!!

There's nothing better than a sparkling clean doggy. Molly is a beauty.

Lapa37 – Yup … Molly’s always a pooped pup when I pick her up at Camp Ilene, but she’s usually ‘dressed’ because I get her ‘groomed’ the last day. I think you spelled bandana right, but I’m not sure.

Eve at Life as I Know It – I’ve always found that ‘putting on a happy face’ lifts my spirits when it lifts others … producing smiles on the faces of those I encounter.

ShutterHappyJenn – Thanks! I think I’ve visited … and I’m too tired to look right now, but I’ll double check tomorrow when I’m alert.

Misty Dawn – Yup … methinks our mutual Molly’s would love to play for sure!

Kahshe Cottager – Molly always brightens MY day. She’s got lots of enthusiasm and energy … keeps me active.

B. Roan – She loves to snuggle on my lap … especially when we’ve been separated for a while, and that’s much more fun for me when she’s clean, soft & sweet-smelling ;--)

To all – I’m delighted you all found time to visit us at Small Reflections. I’ve got a ‘follow up’ post with Molly once we arrived home all ready to share tomorrow, so I hope you’ll drop by again.
Hugs and blessings,

Hello, Friend,

Life has been too busy lately, but I am checking back with you to finally leave a comment.

Your favorite meal sounds absolutely delicious. I would love to try it sometime. Also, the Hawaii photos are enticing. I've never been there, but I'm beginning to think I would enjoy a visit.

Hope you enjoy a lovely day. :)

Lilli & Nevada – Yez … Molly’s always happy (except right now because I’m on the front patio with the kitty who’s eating dinner and Molly’s inside wanting to be out front with me). She doesn’t usually leave the bandanna on for long however.

Lightening – Thanks! I’ve enjoyed participating and usually manage to visit everyone too. I Blog my Blessings and participate in Sacred Life Sunday at Sacred Ruminations each week, but it’s nice to count my blessings at Small Reflections too … and that’s what I do on Smiley Saturdays.

Crazy Cath – Methinks her ears are burning at the compliments, but Molly would be pleased to know you find her a pretty girl and I'm glad to know you enjoyed my thoughts.

Joyce – It seems life is busier than usual for many of us currently, but I do appreciate you dropping by and checking out my favorite meal too. If you’re ever near a Duke’s (these restaurants started in Hawaii so you’re sure to find them there), I suggest you give it a try. The fish tacos are delicious too.

To all – I’m taking a break with my computer on my lap as I sit on the front patio enjoying the late afternoon/early evening outside rather than in. When Ms. Kitty finishes her dinner I’ll let Molly come out here too. She likes to greet folks returning from their day at the beach. I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend and thanks much for visiting here.
Hugs and blessings,

Wow--what fun for Molly! I think EVERYONE should go to camp for a week or two--and the Taos Retreat would count!

Molly looks great! I'm glad you had a good time!

Karen – It IS fun for Molly … and good for me to know she’s safe and happy when I have to be away from home. Actually, I’ve been thinking a lot about Taos these past few weeks because it was about this time last year we all met there and I’ve been working with my photographs from last summer in my PSE6 class. I’m planning to send copies of a couple of ‘slide shows’ on DVD and some other ‘Taos mementos’ to you, Kara, Jan, and perhaps a few others (like Sharon and Christina) who helped me get started and continue blogging … but nothing’s really ‘finished’ yet. It’s all a work in progress.

Tina – Thanks! We were both exhausted for a while until we caught up on rest, but we each undeniably had a wonderful time. The ‘scar’ under her left eye took a while to heal … but she’s her pretty self again now.

Thanks to both of you. Hope you’ve had a wonderful week!
