Happily Hai-ku'd Happenings

Happy April Fool's Day!
(Thanks to Betty for this cool graphic!)

This morning I spent
time with Google Reader in
hopes of clearing out

many unread posts
but it seems a hopeless task ...
500 plus left!

Finally I stopped
to watch tennis so I could
share the results here.

(Photos found at the official website and at Yahoo Sports)

Yesterday the 'champs'
made the tennis look easy
winning with finesse.

Williams sisters both
won their matches handily
and so did Justine

Roger Federer
Andy Roddick and James Blake
defeated their foe!

However today
Serena made Justine look
unprepared to play ...

winning in straight sets
twelve out of the fourteen games.
Justine won just two.

If Venus wins next
the sisters will play Thusday's
semi-final match.

Hootin’ Anni – I’m happy to generate a bit of interest in my favorite sport through these posts ;--)

Roger – Thanks. Actually … I do always hit the ‘marked as read’ button when I add a new blog to the reader … learned that lesson the hard way early on. It’s a little harder to hit it later however, but I have been ‘culling’ my subscriptions lately in order to get a ‘handle’ on things.

Karen – Yup … I do a lot of blog reading … less commenting than I once did however. These days I often leave one comment after reading multiple posts when ‘catching up’ … but even that’s becoming challenging to stay on top of. Of course I am having fun or I wouldn’t be doing it ;--)

I appreciate all of your comments and hope you’re having a wonderful week!

I haven't looked at my reader in fear of what I'll find. I get intimidated when I see big numbers there. Just like my inbox.

love the pics and tennis Ku. Wow, so will the sisters be playing each other?

LceeL – Thanks … I’m glad you enjoyed them. I wish I could take credit for more than finding and sharing them.

Sandy – I know whatcha mean … in fact that’s how mine got ‘cluttered’ recently … but GR is a wonderful way to prioritize and organize my blog reading. I just need to be more ‘disciplined’ about what I keep and what I let go of … not easy for one like myself.

the teach – You’re welcome. I love to share … and I’m sure Betty will be happy to share with you as well … just as she did when I asked.

Greatfullivin – Thanks for everything. I love the award you created and passed it on yesterday as soon as I happened upon it. You did a wonderful job creating it!

Lisa Marie – Remember to give yourself ‘credit’ … and rest assured that what goes around, comes around. I worked harder than most all of my life, and I’m certainly reaping the benefits now.

Thanks so much for the visit and your comments. I hope you have a delightful day!
