HF#105 - Look at My New Toy ...

Make Time for Small Reflections
HF#104 is at Sacred Ruminations and
Haiku Sky Watch Friday is at Happily Retired Gal.

The rose bush is still blooming in my yard.

I decided on
the Nikon D60 for
my new camera ;--)

Canon Rebel did
tempt me but the difference
in price sealed the deal.

Thanks to everyone
who shared camera advice
as I researched this

decision. I do
appreciate your input ...
I am delighted!

Oh, congrats on the new toy!

Great choice! I prefer Nikon myself. I have my P80, but if I had more $$ I would have gotten the D60 as well.
Enjoy your new toy and have a wonderful weekend!

Storyteller,

That rose is exquisite. Roses are one of my favorite flowers and they grow well in one bed where there is plenty of gravel. The area was like that when we moved here, so I just removed the sod and planted the roses.

Love your new toy and looking forward to lots of photos.

Blessings,
Mary

Congratulations on your new camera -- if the rose is any indication you will certainly get great pictures. I'm going to investigate the Nikon D60 myself.

You will have fun with your new camera. My son has one and he loves his.

I have an older Canon EOS Rebel and I love that one, although I carry my small Canon Elph with me now and most of my pictures are taken with that. I guess I don't take many pictures from home, just when I'm traveling and want something lightweight. Enjoy.

You still have roses blooming??? My poor rose bushes are buried under piles of snow right now! lol

Nice haiku! And nice toy... totally jealous over here, but I don't spend enough time on photography anymore to spend big cash on a nice camera. We have a digital that does what we need it to do -- although in my classroom (I work at a preschool), we have a new Nikon Coolpix. It's niiiiiice.

Yippee! I'm sure you will love it!
