No rain here just yet
but if predictions come true
we'll have more inches

of the 'wet stuph' than
we've had in the past few YEARS ...
'El NiƱo' once more.

More birds in flight than
usual of late ... inland
in the morning and

to the beach at night
in large groups and small ... winging
through the cloudy skies

Sunny yellow blooms
brighten any day ... these are
'weeds' that grow nearby

You are so cute!

Yes-- better late for sure-- thanks so much for stopping and commenting AND participating.

I love how your palms took on such a cool silhouette. And the birds give me such a quiet longing feeling.

Good job! and always thanks

Wow, you've covered a multitude of memes!
Love the skies, the birds against the skies and that shot of the yellow flowers in sun and shadow is gorgeous!

Dreary skies of a bad weather forecast followed by such a lovely yellow flower. I like your symbolism! The sun will come out tomorrow, as they sing in "Annie". Were those yellow veins not origionally in the pictured flower? I'm thinking not. I absolutly love your thought for the day about weather forecasting!!

Yes...we are going to get rained on very soon! I can't wait. I am looking forward to hearing the rain but I do worry for those in the burn areas...very nice cloudy photos and bright yellow flowers to follow!

Very dramatic skies! Love the yellow flower as well.

All terrific as usual. The yellow "weeds", could they be "sour grass?" I used to pick sour grass and chew on it when I was a little girl.
