Very colorful series! That cloud formation looks like a jet trail which has been blown in opposite directions at each end to me!

All the color (and the photos) are beautiful! We could use some color here in the middle of winter. With all this frigid weather our pansies aren't flourishing at all.

I am one of the ones who have been snowed in, so this is a delightful post! What a pretty and interesting collection. In trying to identify as many as I could, I see roses, maybe a rhododendron, something that looks like chickory but is prettier. The cloud formation is very unusual and intreguing! Quite something.

Virginia,

Your photos of the blue sky and your flowers are gorgeous. What lovely blooms to lighten my life this morning. We had a beautiful sunny day yesterday, as you saw on the swan photos, but today is gray, overcast and the temperatures are plummeting.

Wishing you a great day.
Blessings,
Mary

You were right, this made my chilly evening so much brighter. Since moving back from my 3 years in Florida, I've struggled to make an honest, modest living, the recession took it's tole, but you know, I've truly learned to live with MUCH less...and I'm OK with it...I've accepted winter as it comes to me and I know spirit will guide and watch over me through these tough times...and I've just squeaked by...and my friend, there is nothing wrong with just squeaking by...IT IS WHAT IT IS...(my new favorite mantra)!

Thanks for the posies and the blue sky!

Love the poster edges on the red roses...and ya, you wonder what caused that odd cloud formation? Must be a lot of air turbulence and a plane's contrail?

Oooo, I like that e.e. cummings quote! and your pictures. That "poster edge" you used on the red roses, is that from Photobucket or do you have PhotoShop or something? Very nice effect.
Happy Blue Monday~

Your mother duck with her ducklings on her back is quite a coincidence that I saw my mother duck in Brisbane. Mothers are something.

I have never seen a ducklings hitching a ride like your ducklings. In Auckland, we have a big lake, and I see ducks often.

The other photo of the clouds, it looks like a pipe with smoke coming out. Great shot.
