I wish I could grow Bird of Paradise here - they are just sooooo beautiful!

They really do look like birds poking their beaks in and around everything.

Our house was built on a bird of paradise grove years ago. They were also one of my grandmothers favorite flowers. They are beautiful, your pics are really nice. I also remember their fuzzy black seeds. Great list!

Helllllloooooo stranger!! I kinda figured your 13 would be a collage. And with photos of birds-of-paradise no less. They're so pretty, aren't they?

My post is up. Come on over and see some odd creatures. You'll be amazed. Happy Thursday.

I don't think I've ever seen this flower before. But then I'm in zone 4a. Beautiful.

Bird of Paradise is such a weird looking flower. We used to have one at our last house. The plant was huge!!

I enjoyed your photos. Very pretty. :)

Exotic. I'm glad you didn't have pictures of people giving "the finger" aka "the bird.

Your photos reflect much talent and patience. It's clear that when you're shooting outdoors, you're in "paradise" yourself!

The bird of paradise is endlessly beautiful. A painted wooden one sticks in the soil for a philodendron and delights me with its realness, although if the truth be known, I'd sure like a real one! Lovely shots, lovely!
