- Procedure :: series of steps to accomplish something
- Tattoos :: reminds me I've been meaning to get one just above my ankle with a Butterfly for decades, but haven't done so yet

- Boyfriend :: teenage crushes
- Badass:: something I'll never be ;--)

I'm at it again ... sharing some Sunday
Seems as if it's been a while
since my fingers played, but I'll
share what's on my mind today
as I let my 'digits' play.
(more to follow in a few minutes, but I'm on the phone ...)
Omygosh it's been
HOURS since I posted this!
After the phone call
I walked Molly then
watered & weeded the yard,
showered ... washed my hair ...
ate some breakfast too.
Methinks I have shifted from
free verse to Haiku.
(I'm shifting back now to free verse ... just because.)
Busy with a myriad
of new interests ... a candid
poem may be over-due.
What's in mind? I have a few
irons in the fire ... but
now that I've begun, just what
to type next (distracted by
Molly makes me question why
I began this silly rhyme)
then a phone call ... Seems that I'm
losing touch with inner peace.
Breathing allows thoughts to cease
then a sense of calm within
as I pause ... begin again.
Reba's asked us to explore
why we blog and I'll have more
to reveal on that when I
finish and publish on my
3rd blog. I'll provide a link
once it's done, but you might think
about joining in as well.
Read about it ... think & tell
why YOU blog. Read others too
in the Carnival. To view

It's 2pm and I've finished today's post about Why I Blog at last.

I STILL have that book in my possession and still plan on reading it. What with after The Kite Runner being an excellent book, I STILL want to read the 2nd one of his.
Square root. Good one.
Happy Sunday dear storyteller
Very interesting post. I love the quote and your mutterings were thought provoking
the book is really, really good !
i loved !
I love that you change forms in you poem and then go back again. It's a hoot!!
As always, these are very fun! I hope you have a great Sunday!
Enjoyed my visit and caught up on the post below. Interesting post, as always.
Blessings,
Mary
Hootin’ Anni – It’s definitely worth reading A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS, but I didn’t find it quite as good a read as THE KITE RUNNER. Funny how I could think of square root, but not Tooth brush … sigh! I've been humming Masquerade all day long ...
Dave – I’m delighted you found it so ;--)
Mariana – Hmmm ... I mentioned two books in my mutterings, so I’m not sure which you loved.
Eve – Hehehe … I considered trying to ‘fix’ the lines, but decided my time was better spent moving on, so that’s what I did. Glad you found it ‘a hoot’ !
Claudia – My Sunday was busier than I would have liked, but overall quite pleasant and productive, thanks.
Mary – I’m glad you found your visit worthwhile ;--)
To all – I grow weary and am about ready to turn off the computer for the night. Thanks so much for visiting and sharing your thoughts. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you!
Hugs and blessings,
I always love your mutterings. Have an awesome week!
Great mutterings! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you come by again!
Sandy M – What a nice thing to say ;--)
Brad – Thanks … and I’ll drop by as time permits. Hope you’ll do likewise.
I appreciate you both dropping by and hope you had a marvelous Monday!
Hugs and blessings,
I love #2. It sounds like fun!
I also like #5. I almost got my sea turtle tattoo over the weekend, but it didn't quite work out. When they had time, I wasn't ready, when I was ready, they were booked.
Yertle – Isn’t it funny how these things happen, yet methinks when the time is right … all things do work together to produce the best results.
I have so many things on the ‘back burner’ because life’s so busy lately (mostly because of my PSE6 classes eating up so much time each week, but I love what I’m learning there so I need to find ways to rebalance I guess). As Gilda Radner used to say … “It’s always something.”
Hugs and blessings,
Storyteller,
I like your mutterings a lot more than mine. I am visiting your entries from the most recent back. I think it was a mistake for me to remind myself about my mother. It seems to have left a dark cloud in my mind. I think that explains a few of my muttering. LOL
Intimidated :: scared
Brush :: with death
Masquerade :: party
Procedure :: medical
Tattoos :: yuck!
Square :: Dance
Tuck :: my children in - long ago!
Boyfriend :: married him - long ago!
Badass:: parents
Thousand - cuts
Hugs,
Tina
Tina – Wow … a few of those responses are a bit dark, but sometimes it’s good to clear such things out of our minds and let the light of day shine on them. I love ‘dance’ for ‘square’ … used to love that when I was younger! I married my HS boyfriend long ago too (after we were both out of college and in the work force), but it only lasted 21 years because he decided he wanted something else. Things change … we grow … and life goes on. When we get lemons we learn to make lemonade ;--)
Thanks for ‘muttering’ along.
Hugs and blessings,
That was fun!
Thanks for visiting the MEME EXPRESS. I hope you will be back soon.
Blessings,
Linda
